Since 2016, www.pilotest.com has helped everyone sitting airline pilot selections practise their aptitude tests. In particular, the site prepares candidates for the psy0 and psy1 Air France stages (cadet or direct entry) and for the ENAC-EPL competitive exam.
Given the sheer amount of work the site and its upkeep represent, we are launching this fundraiser and appealing to your generosity so that we can carry on and keep it free and open to everyone.
Pilotest is the work of a group of friends, all volunteers, who believe that everyone deserves the best possible practice, so that anyone with the motivation and the persistence gets a fair shot at the career they are passionate about.
…May the sky remain the finest place on earth… ✈

Whatever you are able to give, if anything at all, you remain just as welcome on the site, and we will put the same energy into helping you and answering your emails.
Over the past year, Pilotest has widened its scope to European selections and now covers the CUT-E, COMPASS, PILAPT, DLR, INTERPERSONAL and MOLLYMAWK tests. And there is more to come. The English side of the site is being translated. During 2020 it will offer an iOS/Android app that works offline. German and Spanish versions should follow. And soon the tests will be customisable.

Here is where the money goes, in order of priority:
- covering the running costs of the site: hosting, email, registrar and the like (around €1,000 a year)
- funding a semester in the United States during 2020 for Louis, our developer, studying occupational psychology. The aim is for him to gain genuine academic depth in testing, in the design and validation of aptitude tests, in recruitment and in human-machine interfaces. It is a foundation we are missing (€14,500… gulp)
- paying for a designer to put the finishing touches to some of the pages (around €3,000… gulp again)
- helping with the various costs the site generates, particularly when we go hunting for information about aptitude tests, which often means travelling (€1,500 over 2019)
- buying two new computers, our 2011 MacBooks being in palliative care after thousands of hours of coding (2 × €2,500 = €5,000… gulp, gulp, and that is the last of them)
