The Raven’s Advanced Progressive Matrices (APM) is a nonverbal assessment tool designed to measure an individual’s ability to perceive and think clearly, make meaning out of confusion and formulate new concepts when faced with novel information.

Rules

All of the questions on the Advanced Raven's matrix consist of visual geometric design with a missing piece. The test taker is given six to eight choices to pick from and fill in the missing piece.

Timing

The advanced form of the matrices contains 48 items. Items become increasingly difficult as progress is made through the test. You must perform the test in 20 minutes.
