Test modified on 19 August 2019. Calibrated on 06 September 2026

Rules

Prior to the presentation of the line you will shortly see either the letter "L" or the letter "R" in red colour. The red "L" indicates that left turns are relevant. A red "R" tells you to only count the right turns. Not all the parts of the line are always visible. Front parts of it disappear after some time while rear parts appear only later.

Example

DLR - VLR - Spatial orientation - Airline pilot psychometric test online on Pilotest
In this example the red letter was "G" (for left). You therefore count the left turns: there are four of them.

Timing

The test includes 30 questions. The pace increases throughout the test.
